At 10 a.m. Sunday, December 27, 2015 the annual Honokaa Hongwanji Buddhist temple Katsu Goto Memorial service will be held. Rev. Furusawa will present a Dharma message. Featured guests will be Ms. Patsy Iwasaki and Baron Sekiya. They will be making a presentation about the documentary video about the life of the labor martyr, Katsu Goto. The project is being produced under the auspices of the temple’s Peace Committee and the Katsu Goto Memorial sub-committee has secured several grants from foundations as well as the State of Hawaii.
