This hour long documentary film, currently in production, will reveal how one man’s life and tragic death inspires peace and understanding between two cultures over 100 years later. Filmed in Japan and Hawai’i, the documentary will bring to life the true story of Japanese immigrant and martyr Katsu Goto through intimate interviews with his descendants and immigration historians. The film is Presented by the Katsu Goto Memorial Committee, produced by Patsy Y. Iwasaki and Noriko Namiki and directed by award winning filmmaker Danny Miller.
